Bigg Boss Tamil 10: Muniyammal Breaks Down After Ansar's Remarks in Day 40 Promo

Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 witnessed another emotional moment in its Day 40 promo released on October 16, 2026. Muniyammal was seen breaking down after a confrontation with house captain Ansar over an incident connected to the Great Diamond Heist task.

The latest promo has brought renewed attention to the relationship between the contestants as the reality show approaches its sixth weekend. Hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, Bigg Boss Tamil 10 continues to feature heated arguments, strategic tasks and unexpected developments inside the house.

Why Did Muniyammal Cry in Bigg Boss Tamil 10?

The confrontation followed an incident during the Great Diamond Heist task, in which contestants attempted to steal and protect a diamond as part of the competition. Muniyammal was reportedly caught attempting to take the diamond and was sent to the Bigg Boss jail as a consequence.

According to the Day 40 promo, she subsequently left the jail area because of heavy rain. Ansar questioned her decision to leave and spoke sternly about the situation. The exchange left Muniyammal visibly upset, and she returned to the jail area in tears.

Fellow contestant Vinoth Babu was also shown speaking to her in an attempt to offer comfort. The promo highlights the emotional pressure contestants face when task rules, punishments and personal relationships come into conflict.

Ansar's Captaincy Faces Fresh Attention

Ansar is serving as the house captain during Week 6. His responsibilities have placed him at the centre of several discussions involving house rules and contestant behaviour.

The disagreement with Muniyammal has now become another talking point surrounding his leadership. While the promo shows the confrontation and Muniyammal's emotional reaction, the full context of the exchange will be clearer from the complete episode.

Bigg Boss Tamil 10 Diamond Heist Task Creates More Drama

The Great Diamond Heist has been one of the major tasks of Week 6. Contestants have been required to use strategy, teamwork and deception to gain control of the diamond.

TTF Vasan has also attracted attention for his involvement in the task, while other contestants have participated in an investigation into the missing diamond. The challenge has produced disagreements over responsibility, trust and rule-breaking.

Muniyammal's latest confrontation with Ansar adds another emotional development to the ongoing task.

Karishma's Set Damage Incident Adds Another Twist

The show's third Day 40 promo introduced a separate controversy involving damage to part of the Bigg Boss set. Reports indicate that Karishma was involved in the incident, while Ansar was shown attempting to identify the person responsible.

The promo did not establish how the investigation would conclude. With multiple disputes unfolding in the house, the full episode is expected to clarify how the contestants respond to these incidents.

Bigg Boss Tamil 10 Week 6 Nominated Contestants

Eight contestants are reportedly nominated for elimination during Week 6.

The previous weekend ended without an eviction, increasing attention on the upcoming elimination announcement. Although online discussions have raised the possibility of a double eviction, the number of contestants leaving the house has not been officially confirmed.

BoxOfficeX Analysis: Why the Day 40 Promo Matters

The latest promo brings together two important aspects of Bigg Boss: competitive strategy and emotional relationships. Muniyammal's reaction shows how a task-related punishment can develop into a personal disagreement.

Meanwhile, Ansar's position as captain means his decisions are likely to receive additional attention from fellow contestants and viewers. The ongoing Diamond Heist investigation and the separate set damage controversy could also influence discussions during the weekend episodes.

However, the impact of these developments on audience voting remains unknown.

Conclusion

Bigg Boss Tamil 10's Day 40 promo has placed Muniyammal and Ansar at the centre of a fresh confrontation. The disagreement followed Muniyammal's decision to leave the jail area during heavy rain, with Ansar questioning her actions and Muniyammal becoming emotional.

As the show approaches its Week 6 weekend episodes, the Diamond Heist task, house leadership and pending elimination remain major developments to watch.
